In Baku and on the Absheron Peninsula, intermittent precipitation is expected on February 28.
According to information provided by the National Hydrometeorology Service to Modern.az, there is a possibility that it will intensify in some places during the first half of the day and turn into sleet.
An intermittently strengthening northwest wind will blow. The air temperature will be 1-5° warm day and night. Atmospheric pressure will rise from 762 mm mercury column to 766 mm mercury column. Relative humidity will be 80-90%.
In the regions of Azerbaijan, intermittent precipitation and snowfall are expected in some places. There is a possibility of it being intense in isolated areas. Fog will occur in some places at night and in the morning. The east wind will intermittently strengthen in isolated areas.
The air temperature will be 0-4° warm at night, 4-7° warm during the day; in the mountains, 5-10° frost at night, 10-15° frost in high mountainous areas, and 0-5° frost during the day.
Roads will be icy in some mountainous and foothill regions at night and in the morning.
