Today, the next meeting of the Economic Council was held.
This was reported to Modern.az from the Cabinet of Ministers.
On the agenda of the meeting held under the chairmanship of the Economic Council's Chairman, Prime Minister Ali Asadov, arising from the tasks in the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated May 30, 2025, the draft of the “Socio-Economic Development Strategy of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2027-2030” and the discussion of its main targets, the draft of the “II State Program on the Great Return to the Liberated Territories of the Republic of Azerbaijan”, as well as economic growth in 2025, its main factors and the current situation in the areas of activity, the situation and policy directions in the field of macroeconomic and financial stability based on the results of 2025, as well as other current issues were discussed in detail.
Regarding the issues on the agenda, Deputy Prime Ministers Samir Sharifov and Shahin Mustafayev, Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov, and Chairman of the Central Bank Taleh Kazimov delivered speeches. Opinions and proposals regarding the issues presented at the meeting were expressed by the members of the Economic Council.
At the end of the meeting, relevant instructions were given regarding the draft of the “Socio-Economic Development Strategy of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2027–2030” and other issues.
