A new task has been assigned to the Mine Action Agency.
According to Modern.az, this is reflected in the amendment made to the “Charter of the Mine Action Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan” by the Decree of President Ilham Aliyev.
The duties of the Mine Action Agency now include demanding from the executor the elimination of a violation when a breach of the requirements for mine action activities and standard operating procedures is detected during quality control, and suspending the executor's mine action activities if this is not complied with.
