In 2025, a total of 20,135 foreign citizens visited our country to benefit from Azerbaijan's health tourism services.
This information was provided by the State Tourism Agency in response to an inquiry from Modern.az.
It was stated that approximately 85.4% of this number consisted of visitors from CIS countries.
According to the information, citizens of the Russian Federation (11,320 people), Kazakhstan (2,424 people), Turkey (1,739 people), and Georgia (1,461 people) are among the top visitors. The top ten also include countries such as Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Ukraine, and Belarus.
It should be recalled that in 2024, the total number of citizens who visited our country to benefit from Azerbaijan's health tourism services was 23,272. Compared to 2025, approximately 83.4 percent of that indicator at the time belonged to CIS countries.
Among the visitors, citizens of the Russian Federation (15,360 people), Kazakhstan (2,199 people), Turkey (1,311 people), Georgia (1,068 people), and Uzbekistan (935 people) were in the top five. Additionally, visitors from Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Ukraine, and Belarus were also included in the top ten.
