Uzbekistan's Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov called Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov.

It was noted that during the phone conversation, concern was expressed regarding drone attacks on the territory of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic from the territory of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov provided detailed information to the other side regarding the drone attacks. He stated that this attack carried out against the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan is a violation of the norms and principles of international law and serves to increase tension in the region.
It was brought to attention that the Azerbaijani side demands clarification and explanation from the Iranian side regarding the incident in a short period, and that necessary urgent measures be taken to prevent such incidents from recurring in the future.
