Four unmanned aerial vehicles were directed by the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran to carry out acts of aggression towards Azerbaijan's Nakhchivan region.
Modern.az reports that this was stated in the information of the Ministry of Defense.
It was emphasized that one of them was neutralized by the Azerbaijani Army, while others targeted civilian infrastructure, including a secondary school building during school hours.
"The unmanned aerial vehicle targeting the secondary school building fortunately did not reach its target, crashing and exploding near the school" - it is noted in the statement.
