“The parties expressed their concerns, noted the importance of refraining from steps that could lead to further escalation of tension, and emphasized the importance of ensuring stability and security.
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov informed his Armenian counterpart about the drone attacks carried out on March 5 against the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan, which resulted in damage to civilian infrastructure and injuries to civilians.
The ministers noted the importance of ensuring lasting peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan, and exchanged views on issues of mutual interest”, the statement said.
