As reported, in accordance with Decision No. 66 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated March 5, 2026, entry-exit (including entry-exit for transit purposes) for the transportation of goods for all types of vehicles from the state border between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Islamic Republic of Iran has been temporarily suspended.
Regarding this, it was reported to Modern.az by the Cabinet of Ministers.
It was noted that, in this regard, the passage of cargo vehicles belonging to the Republic of Azerbaijan currently returning from the Islamic Republic of Iran to Azerbaijan, as well as cargo vehicles belonging to the Islamic Republic of Iran returning from the Republic of Azerbaijan to Iran, has commenced through the Astara, Bilasuvar, and Julfa state border crossing points.
