Cases of death and disappearance of military personnel of Azerbaijani origin continue to be recorded in the Russia-Ukraine war.
According to information obtained by Modern.az, the death of 5 more of our compatriots has been confirmed in the battles.
Thus, Rahimov Rafiq Anvar oglu (born in 1983), Garibov Teymur Amrah oglu (born in 1989), Hasanov Sadikh Gabil oglu (born in 1978), Abdullayev Rashid Nizamaddin oglu (born in 1989), and Aydogan Sabahaddin Izzaddin oglu (born in 2001), fighting in the ranks of the Russian army, were killed in combat operations conducted in the directions of Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kharkiv regions of the Russia-Ukraine front.
It should be recalled that hundreds of Azerbaijanis have lost their lives or gone missing in the Russia-Ukraine war to date.
