A teacher who insulted a former MP on a social network has been punished.
Modern.az reports that the private prosecution complaint of former MP Etibar Huseynov, head of the "Protest.az" website, was heard at the Saatli District Court. He stated that he was insulted on a social network by Etibar Imanli, a resident of Saatli district, a secondary school teacher, born in 1957, and that his honor and dignity were debased.
During the court investigation, the fact was confirmed, and a verdict was issued against the person complained about under private prosecution.
By the court's verdict, E. Imanli was sentenced to a fine of 1000 manats.
It should be recalled that Etibar Huseynov, former MP of the Milli Majlis and head of the "Protest.az" website and "Protest TV" internet channel, wrote a comment on his social network profile. Etibar Imanli, a resident of Saatli district, born in 1957, insulted the journalist in a comment he wrote on that status. Based on that comment, E. Huseynov filed a complaint with the Saatli District Court under private prosecution.(Oxu.az)
