The position of Head of the Youth Affairs Department of the Ministry of Youth and Sports has been entrusted to Ulviyya Akhundova.
According to Modern.az, Minister of Youth and Sports Farid Gayibov signed a relevant order in this regard.
It should be noted that Ulviyya Akhundova served as Deputy Head of the Ministry's Youth Affairs Department from October 2023 until this appointment.
She received her bachelor's degree in the SABAH groups of Azerbaijan State University of Economics in 2014–2018. Currently, she continues her master's studies at Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University.
In 2023, Ulviyya Akhundova, by the relevant order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, was awarded the Presidential Award for Youth for her activities in the field of “Youth Policy and Work with Youth”.
She actively participated in the organization of a number of national and international initiatives in the fields of youth development, promotion of national-moral values, youth public participation, and international cooperation.
In 2015–2023, she engaged in active public activities in various youth and civil society organizations, leading a number of projects and programs.
