In 2025, within the framework of combating terrorism, 6 individuals fighting in conflict zones abroad were detained.

According to Modern.az, this was reflected in the report on the activities of the Cabinet of Ministers in 2025.

It was noted that the location of 15 more individuals belonging to this contingent was identified, and their movements across the state border were taken under control.
