In 2025, 64 stateless persons were granted citizenship of the Republic of Azerbaijan by the relevant Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
According to **Modern.az**, this was reflected in the report on the activities of the Cabinet of Ministers in 2025.
It was noted that 21 of them are stateless persons, and 43 are persons of unknown citizenship.
It was also noted that during the reporting period, 2015 applications were registered for courses organized by the Service's training and education center to study the Azerbaijani language, history, culture, and migration legislation, with the aim of adapting foreigners and stateless persons residing in the Republic of Azerbaijan to local conditions.
