In 2025, the number of tourists arriving in Azerbaijan from Russia decreased.
According to Modern.az, this was reflected in the Cabinet of Ministers' report on its activities in 2025.
It was noted that during the year, the number of tourists arriving in Azerbaijan from India decreased by 31 percent, from Russia by 16 percent, and from Iran by 1 percent.
It was also reported that an increase was observed in the number of tourists arriving from Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, and Kazakhstan.
Overall, in 2025, 23.9 percent of tourists arriving in Azerbaijan were citizens of Russia, 17.7 percent were citizens of Turkey, and 8.1 percent were citizens of Iran.
During the aforementioned year, the number of foreigners and stateless persons visiting our country was 2,570,200.
