Hepatitis infection in Azerbaijan has decreased by more than 30 times.
According to Modern.az, this was reflected in the Cabinet of Ministers' report on its activities in 2025.
The report stated that the overall incidence of viral hepatitis across the country decreased by 4.9 times (128 cases compared to 630 cases) compared to the previous year, including Hepatitis A by 32 times (14 cases compared to 444 cases), and Hepatitis C by 2.8 times (50 cases compared to 138 cases).
Additionally, 19 cases of anthrax infection were recorded in the country during 2025. It should be noted that the number of anthrax infections in 2024 was 16.
