Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov met with Murat Kurum, Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change of the Republic of Turkey, on March 13.

From the Cabinet of Ministers, it was reported to Modern.az that during the meeting, the importance of the 13th Global Baku Forum was emphasized, and the organization of panel discussions dedicated to COP and the climate agenda within the framework of the event was commended.

Issues of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkey in the fields of environmental protection, waste management, and combating climate change were discussed.

At the same time, the importance of the 13th session of the United Nations World Urban Forum (WUF13), to be held in Baku in 2026, was noted.
