The average amount of assigned monthly pensions increased by 9.1 percent compared to the corresponding period of the previous year, amounting to 541.6 manats and equaling 49.1 percent of the average monthly salary.
During 2025, excluding those provided through mandatory state social insurance contributions, one-time benefits were provided to 38.8 thousand families for the birth of 40.3 thousand children, to 3.7 thousand individuals affected by radiation accidents for medical treatment, and to 6.1 thousand individuals released from serving sentences in penitentiary institutions.
As of January 1, 2026, 336.0 thousand members from 76.1 thousand low-income families received targeted state social assistance, and its average monthly amount per person was 95.7 manats.
To 406.9 thousand individuals from various categories, the Scholarship of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and scholarships for honorary titles were assigned.
