In the period following the Patriotic War, which concluded with our Historic Victory, medical and socio-psychological rehabilitation services were provided to 3800 veterans by the State Medical-Social Expertise and Rehabilitation Agency under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population.
According to information provided to Modern.az by the Ministry's Public Relations Department, continuous targeted work has been carried out in the agency's rehabilitation centers to realize their rehabilitation potential. For this purpose, modern and effective rehabilitation methods have been applied by a professional medical team.
As a result of the work carried out, 270 veterans of the Patriotic War have already been rehabilitated, regained their former health, and overcome their disabilities. Rehabilitation work with other veterans is also ongoing.
Work has also been carried out to provide servicemen who lost limbs in the war with high-tech, latest generation prostheses and high-tech prostheses for running. These rehabilitation aids enable persons with war-related disabilities to move freely, actively, and comfortably.
