As of tomorrow, non-working days will commence in Azerbaijan due to the Ramadan and Novruz holidays.
According to Modern.az, there will be 11 consecutive non-working days in the country.
According to the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers, March 20, 21, 22, 23, 24 have been designated as Novruz holiday days.
Since March 21 and 22 fall on Saturday and Sunday, according to the requirements of the Labor Code, March 25 and 26 will also be non-working days.
When the Ramadan holiday, to be observed on March 20, 21, coincides with another non-working holiday, the next working day is considered a non-working day. Thus, according to the requirement of the Labor Code, the next working days - March 27 and 30 - will also be non-working days.
Consequently, in connection with the Novruz and Ramadan holidays, March 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29 and 30 will be non-working days in our country.
The first working day after the holidays will be March 31.
