In 2026, Azerbaijan's population increased by 2,807 people.
In response to an inquiry from Modern.az, the Ministry of Justice stated that from January 1 to March 15, 2026, 13,683 births and 10,876 deaths were registered by the registration bodies of the Ministry of Justice.
In January-March of last year, 22,119 births and 14,172 deaths had been registered by the district (city) registration departments of the Ministry of Justice.
It should be recalled that in 2024, the country's population increased by 44,100 people, and in 2025, by 37,462 people.
