President Ilham Aliyev congratulated the people of Azerbaijan on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr.

"Dear compatriots!
I sincerely congratulate you on the blessed occasion of Eid al-Fitr and extend my best wishes to all of you.
Ramadan, the sultan of eleven months, which embodies moral and ethical perfection and noble intentions, purifying people's souls and thoughts, is now coming to an end. In this blessed month, during which our holy book, the Quran, was revealed, Muslims gain the opportunity to honorably fulfill their conscientious duties and obligations before Allah, and experience the joy of benevolent acts such as mutual assistance, compassion, and mercy.
For centuries, Azerbaijan has been one of the rare places where different faiths and beliefs coexist peacefully in an atmosphere of tranquility. The religion of Islam, which constantly invites humanity to peace, humanism, and brotherhood, has historically played an exceptional role in preserving ethnic and cultural diversity in our society, establishing an environment of tolerance based on mutual respect and trust, and fostering national and spiritual solidarity.
Dear brothers and sisters!
Every year, the month of Ramadan further strengthens the unity and equality of our people, becoming a triumph of benevolence and virtuous deeds. On these blessed days, I join in your prayers for the peace, prosperity, and progress of our state, and respectfully commemorate the heroic martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the independence and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.
