In Azerbaijan, a new AGENCY WAS ESTABLISHED

The powers of the State Agency for Compulsory Medical Insurance (SACMI) in the field of compulsory medical insurance for the population have been transferred to the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population (MLSPP).

Modern.az reports that President Ilham Aliyev signed a Decree on a number of measures related to the improvement of management in the field of compulsory medical insurance for the population.

By the Decree, the State Medical Insurance and Expertise Agency, a public legal entity, was established under the ministry through the reorganization, in the form of a merger, of the State Agency for Compulsory Medical Insurance (SACMI) and the State Medical-Social Expertise and Rehabilitation Agency, a public legal entity under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population (MLSPP).
