Azer Badamov, a member of the Milli Majlis, was prohibited from entering Russia in May of this year. Although he departed for Russia at that time to participate in an event, he was not allowed into the country.
Following the softening of relations between Russia and Azerbaijan, it is of interest whether the ban imposed on the deputy remains in force.

In a statement to our website, Azer Badamov noted that the ban imposed on his entry to Russia is still ongoing:
“The restriction on my entry to Russia continues. I have not made any request regarding the lifting of the restriction.”
