Assistance to persons affected during demining activities will be provided through compulsory medical insurance.
According to Modern.az, this issue is reflected in the draft law “On Demining Activities” discussed at today's plenary session of the Milli Majlis.
According to the new draft, the rights of persons affected by demining activities in the field of public health protection, in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan “On Demining Activities”, will ensure that affected persons are provided with specialized medical assistance in state healthcare institutions at the expense of the state budget (and at the expense of compulsory medical insurance funds if provided for in the service package in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan “On Medical Insurance”).
The draft law was adopted in the first reading.
