A change will be made in cases where employees' workplaces and average salaries are maintained.
Modern.az reports that this issue is reflected in the amendment to the Labor Code, which was discussed at today's plenary session of the Milli Majlis.
According to current legislation, during the period an employee is involved in performing state and public duties in cases and procedures stipulated by law, their workplace and position (profession) must be maintained, and they must be paid their average salary.
The draft proposes the removal of the aforementioned provision from the legislation.
After discussions, the amendment was put to a vote and adopted in its third reading.
