New fines and administrative arrest are determined for the repeated commission of burning cultivated land by a person who has received an administrative penalty.
Modern.az reports that this issue is reflected in the proposed amendment to the Code of Administrative Offenses, which was brought up for discussion at today's session of the Milli Majlis.
According to the draft, for burning cultivated land, natural persons are fined in the amount of four hundred to six hundred manats, officials are fined in the amount of one thousand five hundred to two thousand manats, or, taking into account the circumstances of the case and the identity of the offender, if the application of these measures is not considered sufficient, administrative arrest for a period of up to one month is applied, and legal entities will be fined in the amount of five thousand to six thousand manats.
For the repeated commission of the offense specified above by a person who has received an administrative penalty, within one year from the date the decision on imposing an administrative penalty came into force, natural persons are fined in the amount of six hundred to eight hundred manats, officials are fined in the amount of two thousand to two thousand five hundred manats, or, taking into account the circumstances of the case and the identity of the offender, if the application of these measures is not considered sufficient, administrative arrest for a period of one to two months is applied, and legal entities will be fined in the amount of six thousand to seven thousand manats.
According to the current Code, for burning cultivated land, natural persons are fined in the amount of four hundred to six hundred manats, officials are fined in the amount of one thousand five hundred to two thousand manats, and legal entities are fined in the amount of five thousand to six thousand manats.
The issue was adopted in the third reading.
