The position of occupational safety engineer will be established in workplaces created by individual employers where the number of employees exceeds 50.
Modern.az reports that this issue is reflected in the amendment to the Labor Code, which was discussed at today's plenary session of the Milli Majlis.
According to the project, in enterprises and workplaces created by individual employers, when the number of employees is less than 50, the organization of occupational safety work will be included in the labor functions of one of the employees with knowledge of occupational safety, with the employee's consent and by making appropriate changes to the employment contract.
If this is not possible, the position of occupational safety specialist will be established by the employer.
After discussions, the amendment was put to a vote and adopted in the third reading.
