Changes will be made to the procedure for combining the durations of basic and additional leaves.
Modern.az reports that this issue was reflected in the amendment to the Labor Code discussed at today's plenary session of the Milli Majlis.
According to current legislation, if an employee is simultaneously entitled to two or more additional leaves provided for in the articles of the Labor Code related to working conditions, characteristics of labor function, and length of service, the additional leave with the longer duration is combined with their basic leave.
According to the draft, if an employee is simultaneously entitled to additional leave provided for in the articles of the Labor Code related to working conditions, characteristics of labor function, and length of service, the additional leave obtained under each of these two articles will be combined with their basic leave.
After discussions, the amendment was put to a vote and adopted in the third reading.
