Any direct or indirect discrimination among employees based on family responsibilities will be prohibited.
Modern.az reports that this issue is reflected in the amendment to the Labor Code discussed at today's plenary session of the Milli Majlis.
According to the draft, any direct or indirect discrimination among employees based on family responsibilities in labor relations, the direct or indirect establishment of privileges and concessions, as well as the restriction of their rights on the basis of these factors, will be strictly prohibited.
The establishment of concessions, privileges, and additional guarantees in labor relations for persons with disabilities and employees with family responsibilities will not be considered discrimination.
After discussions, the amendment was put to a vote and adopted in the third reading.
