A change will be made to the procedure for formalizing and accounting for the granting of leaves.
Modern.az reports that this issue is reflected in the amendment to the Labor Code, which was discussed at today's plenary session of the Milli Majlis.
According to the draft, if an employee, after the employer's written notification (on paper or via an electronic information system), does not apply to the employer with an application to use labor leave (fully or partially) without complying with the rotation schedule of labor leave and the conditions and procedure for transferring labor leave to another time, they will be sent on labor leave for the relevant working year by the employer's order (instruction, decision).
With the exception of the case specified above, the granting of all types of leaves will be formalized by the employer's order (instruction, decision) based on the employee's written application (on paper or via an electronic information system).
After discussions, the amendment was put to a vote and adopted in the third reading.
