The list of employees with special services whose leave entitlement is 46 calendar days will be amended.
Modern.az reports that this issue is reflected in the amendment to the Labor Code, which was discussed at today's plenary session of the National Assembly.
According to the document, the following employees will be granted leave of no less than 46 calendar days:
Employees with disabilities due to reasons related to the defense of the territorial integrity, independence, and constitutional order of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the events of January 20, 1990, the performance of military service duties (official duties), or the performance of military service duties (official duties) at the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant;
Employees who have received the title of war veteran for participating in combat operations for the territorial integrity of the Republic of Azerbaijan;
Employees who were military personnel and performed their military duty in a country where combat operations were conducted;
Employees awarded with the highest decoration of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
After discussions, the amendment was put to a vote and adopted in its third reading.
