In Azerbaijan, there should be a difference in the amount of funds paid for utility services by individuals living in cities and villages.
Modern.az reports that this was stated by MP Eldar Ibrahimov at today's meeting of the Agrarian Policy Committee of the Milli Majlis.
"Why do people come from villages to cities? Because the money paid for electricity, gas, and water by a person living in a village and a person living in a city is the same. However, it should be less in the village, because unlike city residents, those living there do not work in factories and receive salaries," he noted.
