Deputies of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic (AR) Supreme Assembly will have assistants.
Modern.az reports that, in this regard, the proposed amendments to the law "On the Status of a Deputy of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Supreme Assembly" were discussed at today's plenary session of the Supreme Assembly.
According to the draft law, deputies may have assistants to ensure their activities. Specifically, the deputies' assistants will be maintained at the expense of the Nakhchivan AR budget. Their employment will be regulated by labor legislation.
Additional requirements for the deputy's assistant will be determined by the decision of the Chairman of the Supreme Assembly.
The draft was adopted in the first reading after discussions.
