During the First Karabakh War, Armenians committed genocide crimes against our compatriots.
Modern.az reports that this was stated by Sahiba Gafarova at today's plenary session of the Milli Majlis.
"Under the leadership of the President, thanks to the historic victories achieved in the 44-day Patriotic War and the anti-terror operation, the territorial integrity of our state has been restored, and ethnic cleansing and genocide crimes against our people have been ended. Revenge for the Khojaly victims has been taken on the battlefields."
The Speaker proposed to commemorate the memory of the Khojaly victims who lost their lives as a result of the tragedy with a minute of silence.
In the Parliament, the memory of the Khojaly victims was commemorated.
