Deputies commenting on the agenda at today's plenary session of the Milli Majlis also spoke about the “Great Return”.

Modern.az reports that Milli Majlis deputy Vugar Bayramov stated during his speech that approximately 23 billion manats have been allocated for the restoration of Karabakh and East Zangazur after the Victory, and a total of 3.7 billion manats is planned to be allocated for this direction, including 2026.

“This means that more than 26 billion manats will be allocated from the state budget, including 2026, for the restoration of our territories liberated from occupation after the victory. This amount includes the reconstruction of infrastructure, the construction of residential buildings for settlement, and the restoration and reconstruction of infrastructure related to the provision of social and communal services”.

Speaker Sahiba Gafarova agreed with Vugar Bayramov's views, emphasizing that the reconstruction and return process in Karabakh has been extremely successful.
“No one has been forcibly relocated there to date” – the speaker also stated.

It should be noted that during his speech, deputy Razi Nurullayev had stated that those who had moved to Karabakh had returned to Baku.
