Within the framework of compulsory medical insurance, the payment of the co-financing amount is extended by 1 year.
Modern.az reports that the issue is reflected in the draft law on amendments to the Law "On Medical Insurance", which was discussed at today's plenary session of the Milli Majlis.
According to the Law, when using medical services related to direct specialized physician examination without applying for primary medical-sanitary care, the insured person must pay the co-financing amount.
According to the amendment, the aforementioned article will come into force on January 1, 2027.
It should be recalled that the co-financing amount is the part of losses or damages arising from an insured event that is not covered by compulsory medical insurance coverage and is paid by the insured person.
The issue was put to a vote and adopted in the third reading.
