We must revisit the issue of opening an Ombudsman center in Karabakh.
Modern.az reports that Zahid Oruc, Chairman of the Human Rights Committee, stated this during the discussion of the annual report of the Commissioner for Human Rights of Azerbaijan (Ombudsman) at today's plenary session of the Milli Majlis.
He noted that the “Ombudsman” of the separatist entity, which has already “dissolved itself,” is creating artificial appearances of activity and existence, circulating various reports. The commissioner of the fictitious entity had appealed to the US Vice President regarding separatist leaders".
Zahid Oruc recalled the information that the Ombudsman's Office has 4 regional centers in Ganja, Shaki, Guba, and Jalilabad, and that a 5th regional center will soon be opened in Karabakh
"The opening of a constitutionally legal regional Ombudsman Center in the Karabakh region would be a response to the fake “ombudsmen”,” he stated.
