When parents are deprived of parental rights and in other cases, the protection of children's rights and interests will be carried out by the p (institution) determined by the relevant executive authority.
Modern.az reports that this issue is reflected in the draft law on amendments to the Family Code, which was discussed at today's session of the Milli Majlis of the Milli Majlis.
According to the draft, when parents die or are unknown, when declared missing without a trace or deceased by a court, when deprived of parental rights or when parental rights are restricted, when deemed incapacitated or having limited capacity, when unable to perform parental duties due to illness, disability, or old age, when refusing to raise children or protect their rights and interests, when refusing to take children from social service institutions, when serving a sentence in correctional facilities, as well as in other cases where there is no parental care, the protection of children's rights and interests will be carried out by the p (institution) determined by the relevant executive authority.
The issue was adopted in the third reading.
