It would be expedient to apply a differential approach in paying compensation for real estate for state needs in the capital.
Modern.az reports that MP Vugar Bayramov stated this during the discussion of the Cabinet of Ministers' report.
The MP noted that the areas of some courtyard houses are quite small, and it is important whether compensation for these apartments is calculated per square meter or a specific amount is paid for the entire house.
“For example, the areas of some houses are less than 30 and even, in some cases, less than 20 square meters. It is clear that when there are fixed payments, the amount of compensation paid for apartments with small areas is comparatively lower. From this perspective, it would be more expedient to apply differential compensation amounts in Baku during demolitions. In this case, compensation for relatively small houses would not be calculated per square meter, but rather a sufficient amount could be paid to the apartment owner to purchase a house. This would support the solution of the housing problem for owners of relatively small houses,” he noted.
He stated that one of the issues raised by residents at the annual reporting meeting held in Fuzuli district in January this year was related to the drinking water supply of the Qayidishi settlements. Work has already begun on the drinking water supply for the Qayidishi settlements, which have over ten thousand residents.
