The increase in prices of some agricultural products, especially meat, in the market necessitates the adoption of additional measures.
Modern.az reports that Tahir Rzayev, Chairman of the Agrarian Policy Committee, stated this during the discussion of the Cabinet of Ministers' report.
The committee chairman stated that the establishment of auxiliary farms for each ministry, committee, and agency in this direction could be beneficial.
“If every enterprise and organization takes a certain hectare of land and creates opportunities for growing agricultural products there, this would help both reduce prices in the market, provide employment for many people, and supply employees working in those organizations with cheap agricultural products. Although significant measures have been taken to eliminate the traffic problem in cities, the issue has not been fully resolved.”
Tahir Rzayev noted that some officials insist on closing workplaces instead of creating new ones:
“At a time when the President attaches great importance to the creation of new jobs and has taken significant measures in this area, the initiatives of some officials to restrict workplaces instead of creating new ones, and to leave people unemployed by making persistent demands regardless of their age, experience, or family status, are concerning, and each of us must be aware of this issue.”
Tahir Rzayev also noted that stopping a car for every person crossing the road is unacceptable:
“Permission to cross the road should be granted after 8-10 people have gathered at the roadside. This area also needs to be regulated,” he emphasized.
