The master plan for Aghdara city, liberated from occupation, is ready.
Modern.az reports that this was stated within the framework of a media tour organized to the city following the President's footsteps.
It was noted that the Master Plan for Aghdara city has already been presented, and based on this, the residential area for the population in the city will be increased. Specifically, the city's current area of 444 hectares will be expanded to 522 hectares. Furthermore, for a 20-year prospective period, the city's population is projected to be 14,000 people.
The conceptual scheme of the Master Plan includes a city center, individual and low-density residential areas, multifunctional and public-business zones. In addition, the creation of a riverside boulevard, a terrace park, agrotourism, industrial, and logistics zones is planned in the city.
At the same time, along with the Master Plan, detailed solutions have also been prepared for the area of Aghdara city to be reconstructed in the first phase. Furthermore, the housing stock of Aghdara city is envisioned to be 420,000 square meters. This includes the construction of an 80-bed hospital, 5 school buildings with a capacity for 2520 students, 5 kindergartens for 840 children, and a vocational school is planned in the city. In the first phase, the development of the city center, which spans 104 hectares, is envisioned.
Regarding the settlement of the population in Aghdara city, it will be possible to settle 3,590 people in the city by 2030. Here, the length of roads and streets will be 46.8 kilometers, and the length of bicycle lanes will be 10 kilometers.
