Information has been disseminated regarding the temporary suspension of traffic on the highway providing movement from Kalbajar district towards the Murovdag mountain range. The disseminated information states that the road will remain closed for approximately 1 week.
Modern.az contacted the State Agency of Azerbaijan Automobile Roads to clarify the matter.
Anar Najafli, the press secretary of the agency, stated that there is no problem on the Murov road:
"There is no problem on the Murov road. The road is open. However, drivers should be cautious. It is not advisable for inexperienced drivers to ascend that road. Drivers should use vehicles suitable for the winter season. Because that area is a high mountainous region, they must be careful", - A. Najafli said.
