By 2030, we will have put the Zangezur Corridor into operation.
Modern.az reports that Turkey's Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, Abdulkadir Uraloğlu, stated this in an interview with "Anadolu" Agency.
Emphasizing the significant importance of the 224-kilometer-long Kars–Iğdır–Aralık–Dilucu Railway Line for the corridor, Uraloğlu stated that the foundation of the project was laid last year and work is currently ongoing:
“The Azerbaijani side is also continuing its work. There are still unfinished issues in the direction of Nakhchivan. It is likely that the Azerbaijani side will also start work this year. As you know, the Zangezur corridor came to the agenda with the involvement of the US in the process. We expect certain progress there this year as well. We will have put the Zangezur corridor into operation by 2030,” the minister said.
