Modern.az reports that teaching begins on September 15 in all educational institutions across the country.
In Azerbaijan, there will be 2.2 million students in the new academic year.
In the 2025/2026 academic year, over 130,000 children will attend the 1st grade.
In the new academic year, 75,000 students have been admitted to all levels of higher education.
Also, from the new academic year, journals will be abolished in Baku schools, and the "Digital School" platform will begin operation.
On September 15, the first lesson in grades II–XI of general education institutions will be dedicated to the theme "Year of Constitution and Sovereignty".
