The payment of scholarships for 11 students, who were awarded the Presidential Scholarship in the last academic year, has been suspended for the autumn semester of the 2025/2026 academic year.
This information was provided by the Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS) in response to an inquiry from Modern.az.
It was stated by SOCAR's Baku Higher Oil School that currently a total of 90 students at the Baku Higher Oil School are receiving the Presidential Scholarship.
It was additionally noted that the awarding or suspension of the Presidential Scholarship is determined based on students' academic performance for each semester.
According to information provided by BHOS, the restoration of the scholarship is envisaged for students who improve their relevant indicators in the next semester.
For students of Azerbaijani higher education institutions, the amount of the Presidential Scholarship has been set at 350 manats from September 1, 2025.
