In Azerbaijan, document admission for master's programs will be conducted from January 14 to 26.

Modern.az reports that the State Examination Center has released information on this matter.

It was noted that after creating a "Personal Account" on the ekabinet.dim.gov.az page of the Center's website (for those without a "Personal Account"), the bachelor adds the required amount (50 AZN) for submitting an application to their "Personal Account".

Using the username and password of their "Personal Account", the bachelor accesses the relevant page of the Center's website (//eservices.dim.gov.az/erizemag/erize) during the application period, fills out the "Bachelor's Electronic Application" form, and confirms it.

Bachelors who have graduated from higher education institutions operating in Azerbaijan, as well as bachelors who have received higher education in foreign countries and whose higher education qualifications from foreign states are recognized by the Quality Assurance Agency in Education, fill out and confirm the "Bachelor's Electronic Application" on the Center's official website during the application period to participate in the admission exam.

The admission exam for master's programs is conducted by the SEC in a centralized manner to assess bachelors' general intellectual level (logical thinking), informatics, and foreign language knowledge.

The admission exam (Attempt I) is scheduled to be held on February 15, 2026.

In the exam, bachelors will be presented with 50 test tasks for Logical Thinking assessment (including 5 open-ended), 25 test tasks for Informatics (including 5 open-ended), and 20 test tasks for Foreign Language (including 2 open-ended), as well as a topic for a written assignment (essay).

When calculating exam results, each correct answer to a test task by the bachelor is graded with one point, incorrect answers do not affect the result of correct answers, and the essay is graded with a maximum of 5 points. Thus, the maximum score achievable in the exam is 100 points.

For answering test tasks in the admission exam, 3 hours are allocated, and for completing the written assignment (essay), 30 minutes are allocated, totaling 3 hours and 30 minutes. After 3 hours, answer sheets are collected from bachelors, and special essay sheets are distributed to them for writing the assignment. It should be noted that for choosing specializations taught in English (German), the result for the written assignment (essay) must not be less than 2 points. For choosing specializations taught in Azerbaijani or Russian, there is no score limitation for the written assignment (essay) result.
