A change has been made in the evaluation of essay-type writing tasks in the admission exams for master's level.
Regarding this, information was provided by the State Examination Center (SEC) in response to an inquiry from Modern.az.
It was stated that, according to the new rules, starting from this year, bachelors who wish to indicate specializations taught in English or German in their application must write an essay and score a minimum of 2 points from this task. Thus, only candidates who meet this condition will be able to add these specializations to their choices.
According to the information provided by the SEC, to choose specializations taught in Azerbaijani or Russian, no score limitation is applied to the result of the writing task (essay).
It should be recalled that, for several years, participants' writing skills in the foreign language subject exam have been tested through essays. Until now, participants could score a maximum of 5 points from the essay task, and writing the essay was not considered mandatory.
