The registration process for the Lutfi Zadeh Mathematics-Logic Olympiad and Inter-school Subject Competitions is commencing.
Modern.az reports that this was announced by the Institute of Education.
The electronic registration process for participation in both competitions will cover the dates of January 15 – January 29.
Students wishing to participate in the competition must apply electronically from January 15 at 15:00 via the //portal.edu.az/ platform by entering the “Competitions and Olympiads” section and selecting the relevant competition direction.
Participation opportunities by subjects:
• VI grade: mathematics, informatics, nature;
• VII grade: mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology
Students who have completed their registration must participate in school rounds organized by general education institutions on February 6-15. Students who achieve successful results in the school rounds will gain the right to participate in the district (city) stage. Students can learn the exact date and format of the school rounds from the general education institutions where they study.
The main purpose of organizing the competitions is to identify talented students, to foster a healthy competitive environment among students, to develop logical thinking, to identify students distinguished by creative and divergent thinking abilities, and to conduct targeted work with them.
It should be noted that the winners of the Inter-school Subject Competitions are involved in the preparation process at the International Olympiads Center operating under ARTI.
