The leadership of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences has repeatedly expressed its firm position regarding Ramiz Mehdiyev's expulsion from the Academy's full membership.
Regarding this, information was provided by ANAS to Modern.az.
"We reiterate that Ramiz Mehdiyev, accused by the State Security Service of treason against the state and forcibly seizing power, cannot remain a member of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences.
The National Academy of Sciences will consider the issue of Ramiz Mehdiyev's full membership in the Academy and will expel him from membership. The public will be informed about this.
The collective of the National Academy of Sciences strongly condemns the criminal incidents that have occurred and states that they are unforgivable", - it was noted in the information.
