On February 6, teacher Shahla Kamilova, who was shot by a student at "Idrak" Lyceum located in Binagadi district of Baku, has been discharged home.

Modern.az reports that this was stated in the information provided by the Clinical Medical Center.

It was noted that the person (female) born in 1997, who was hospitalized at the Clinical Medical Center via an emergency medical aid brigade, was discharged home for outpatient treatment on 16.02.2026.

It should be recalled that on February 6, a 10th-grade student, Ali Shirinov, caused an armed incident at "Idrak" Lyceum located in Binagadi district of Baku.

The student came to school with his father's hunting rifle and opened fire on Shahla Kamilova, who works as a teacher at the lyceum. The teacher, who sustained a gunshot wound, was hospitalized in serious condition. Doctors removed 16 pellets from the teacher's neck area. The student who committed the incident has been detained, and a pre-trial detention measure for a period of 4 months has been chosen against him.
